Sermon Audio: Psalm 7

On Sunday morning we continued looking at Psalms from David's life; this time it was Psalm 7. In view of a vicious verbal assault by a Benjaminite as David flees Jerusalem before his rebellious son Absalom, David declares to God that ' You are my Shelter .' Take refuge in the God of justice.

Sermon Audio: Psalm 51

On Sunday morning, we had the first in our short summer sermon series looking at Psalms from the life of King David. In 2 Samuel 11, David commits adultery with Bathsheba, then has her husband killed in the war he should have been fighting himself. He thinks he has gotten away with it, but God was displeased, and sent Nathan the prophet to confront and convict David. Psalm 51 is the Psalm David writes in response: You are my Salvation.
