From January through to March, we took another chunk of Luke's Gospel, rejoining the action where Jesus resolutely sets his face for Jerusalem. Everything that happens is informed by this one way journey, on his way to the cross. Here are the sermons in order: Luke 9: 51-62 Follow me Luke 10: 1-24 Sent by Jesus (Apologies, Luke 10: 25-37 wasn't recorded) Luke 10: 38-42 Mary and Martha Luke 11: 1-13 Praying to our Father Luke 11: 14-36 The Stronger, Something Greater Saviour Luke 11:37 - 12:12 The Woes of Religion Luke 12: 13-34 The Foolish Farmer Luke 12: 35-53 The Faithful Servant Luke 12:54 - 13:9 Repent or Perish Luke 13: 10-21 A Loosed Woman Luke 13: 22-35 The Fox and the Hen

Sermon: 22nd February 2015

On Sunday morning we continued our series in Luke's Gospel as Jesus journeys towards the cross. In Luke 12: 35-53 he points forward to the time between his ascension and his return, to show us what the Faithful Servant looks like - watching and working while we wait for his return.

Sermon: 15th February 2015

At our last family service, we were thinking about foolish farmers and treasure. Listen in to hear what happened from Luke 12: 13-34.

Sermon: Sunday 8th February 2015

On Sunday we were looking at the Woes of Religion from the end of Luke 11, and also the answer to outward religion from the start of Luke 12. Why did Jesus condemn religious people? What are the dangers of being religious?

Sermon: 1st February 2015

On Sunday we listened in as Jesus drove out a demon, only to face opposition on various fronts. Was Jesus working for the devil? Did the crowd need more persuasion by extraordinary signs? We discovered that Jesus is the Stronger, Something Greater Saviour from Luke 11:13-36.

Sermon: 25th January 2015

We're continuing our series as we follow Jesus up towards Jerusalem. Along the way, the disciples watch Jesus praying, and ask him to teach them how to pray. Here we look at what Jesus says about praying to our Father in Luke 11:1-13.

Sermon: 11th January 2015

As we continue to follow Jesus on 'The Way of the Cross' we find that we are Sent by Jesus to proclaim the Kingdom.

Sermon: 4th January 2015

On Sunday 4th January, we began our new series 'The Way of the Cross' as Jesus sets his face to go up to Jerusalem and the cross. We hear the call of Jesus to 'Follow me' .
