Sermon: 26th August 2012

On Sunday we finished our mini-series looking at Matthew 13, and we listened in to Jesus' Kingdom Parables . In ordinary stories about every day life, Jesus tells us that his Kingdom is growing, precious, and pure.

Sermon: 19th August 2012

Yesterday morning we continued to listen as Jesus teaches about the Kingdom from Matthew 13. The parable of the wheat and the weeds answers the question: Why is the world the way it is? by reminding us that harvest is coming.

Sermon: 12th August 2012

Yesterday we continued to study Matthew 13, as the disciples ask Jesus why he speaks to the crowd using parables. Are you really seeing and hearing when Jesus speaks? Listen in to the Purpose of the Parables (Matt 13:10-17).

Yesterday we began a summer mini-series in Matthew 13, listening in as Jesus teaches by the beach, telling parables about the Kingdom of God. The first was the parable of the soils (or the parable of the sower!) from Matthew 13:1-9.
