Sermon: 26th May 2013

On Sunday morning, we continued in our series studying Peter's first letter. Having discovered that Christians are God's chosen people, Peter goes on to help us live as aliens and exiles in this world.

Sermons 19th May 2013

On Sunday morning at our Family Service, we were thinking about building the church - not of stone or brick, but of living stones - people, built on Christ the cornerstone (1 Peter 2:4-10). In the Brooke Hall on Sunday evening, we learnt about the promise of the Holy Spirit from the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37.

Sermon: 12th May 2013

On Sunday morning our reading was 1 Peter 1:22-2:3, where Peter writes to the scattered Christians about the imperishable word which, like a seed has been planted deeply in their hearts, and which they should long like babies wanting their milk. What is the fruit of the seed? Genuine mutual love.

Sermon: 5th May 2013

On Sunday we continued our series in 1 Peter as we discovered that God's true grace for elect exiles makes us ransomed, holy children . (1 Peter 1:13-21)

On Sunday we began a new series in Peter's first epistle, looking at the True Grace of God (5:12). From chapter 1, God's True Grace makes us Chosen Exiles .
