Postcard from Göteborg February 2017
Thank-you so much for your prayers for Trevor’s national tests. He has now passed level ‘C’ in Swedish for Immigrants and begins the ‘D’ course this week. Please pray for a group from the language class who are planning to come and hear Trevor preach in church on 19th February. Remember especially H from Kurdistan and P from Uganda for whom this will be their first visit. On the last weekend of February, Trevor will also speak at a men’s weekend in Värmland (although it will be anything but warm!).
Andrea continues to be encouraged with the Ladies’ Bible Study. Usually one of the girls will accompany Andrea, but since the February study is in our home, both Emily and Grace can be part of this.
In our Youth Bible Study we’re in the middle of the Bible Overview and then we’ll go to 1 Thessalonians and The Changed Life in March. There’s been a lot of sickness in the group since Christmas and we’re praying for stability but most of all for real Word & Spirit growth.
It was lovely to have Eric, one of our elders from Coleraine, and his wife Gillian, with us last weekend. We praise God for all who are partnering with us here in Sweden. Trevor, Andrea, Emily, Grace & Alice xx
